Physiotherapy is shaped by scientific evidence and is based in the movement sciences and aims to enhance or restore function of multiple body systems. The profession is committed to health, lifestyle and quality of life. This holistic approach incorporates a broad range of physical and physiological therapeutic interventions and aids to address the changing needs of our population and our health system. Physiotherapists utilize diagnostic and assessment procedures and tools to develop and implement preventive and therapeutic interventions.
Physiotherapists encourage clients participate in a team approach to health service delivery.
Physiotherapy interventions include, but are not limited to: education, consultation, and health promotion; personalized therapeutic exercise to improve strength, range of motion, function and performance; soft tissue and manual therapy techniques; including tissue mobilization, spinal and peripheral joint mobilization and manipulation; physical, electrotherapeutic and mechanical agents; acupuncture; cardiorespiratory techniques; functional testing and training; prescription, and application of assistive, adaptive, and supportive devices and equipment; return to work planning; and environmental changes to remove barriers to function.

Massage Therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with every day and occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions.
Massage Therapy can be used to treat both acute and chronic conditions. RMTs can work with a variety of patient in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation and disability. Massage therapy can be beneficial to a wide variety of conditions.

Emily is a Registered Massage Therapist with a profound passion for understanding the human body. This passion and dedication helped her to accomplish her goal, graduating with honours from Mohawk College in 2023. During this time, she was part of a variety of outreaches such as palliative care, charity events, and sport/athletic team treatments. She was always fascinated by the anatomy of the human body and aspired to work in the healthcare field to help assist individuals with diverse musculoskeletal conditions.

She is excited to help others achieve health and wellness through her continued work at Powered by Peak Performance and is looking forward to furthering her education by taking more courses specializing in different techniques.

Outside of the clinic you can find Emily spending quality time with her family and friends. She finds solace in listening to music and is an avid traveler.

Dr. Jess attended the University of Guelph where she obtained her Bachelor of Science (Honours) majoring in Human Kinetics in 2012. Upon completion she spent a few years working in a multidisciplinary clinic along with numerous healthcare providers where I was able to see where she felt she could best improve the lives of others. From there she made the choice to continue her passion for health and wellness and attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2018.

Dr. Jess focuses on traditional one-on-one chiropractic treatments. She uses a combination of different techniques when treating her patients; manipulations, mobilizations, myofascial release therapy, instrumented assisted soft tissue therapy, adjunctive therapies such as interferential current, as well as educational tools and rehabilitation exercises. She has also been trained in neurofunctional medical acupuncture. Dr. Jess encourages patients to participate in a team approach to health service delivery, as each health discipline brings a unique perspective to the healthcare team and improve the patient experience and satisfaction.

Dr. Alex opened Peak Performance Health Centre in Cambridge in 2004 as a single chiropractor, bringing with him his expertise working with the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL) and Esporte Clube Bahia (Professional Soccer Team in Brazil). His dream was to establish a top-notch health care facility in his hometown of Cambridge that would provide his patients with the best care to keep them at their peak performance.

Dr. Alex furthered his chiropractic education with courses in Anatomy, becoming an Active Release Technique provider (ART), as well as Guasha and Kinesiotape provider. He has also completed his International Chiropractic Sports Sciences Diploma and was offered a position at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

He taught Clinical Assessments and Anatomy at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy for 10 years, and served as the Co-chair of the Cambridge and North Dumfries Doctor Recruitment Task Force, Chair of the Doctors of Tomorrow Committee, and President of the Montessori School of Cambridge Board of Directors for approximately 7 years.

Prabh was born and raised in India where he completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Guru Nanak Dev University in 2014. Following his degree, Prabh moved to Canada to pursue a career in health care. In 2016, he was accepted into the Alberta Internationally Educated Physiotherapy Bridging Program. This program is the National gold standard to assist foreign trained Physiotherapists with the knowledge and tools to successfully pass our National Competency Exam and be licensed to work in Canada. Prabh completed the program in July, 2017 and subsequently passed the National Competency Exam. He went on to work as a Registered Physiotherapist at a Sports injury Physiotherapy Clinic in Winnipeg, Manitoba until recently relocating to the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Prabh’s treatment philosophy includes a combination of patient education, hands-on care and exercise.

He is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Prabh has participated in competitive sports including soccer, volleyball and cricket, and in his spare time enjoys spending time in meditation, sports, travelling and spending time with family and friends
